Dental Bonding

The Willowbrook Dental Clinic team can use dental bonding to try and repair gaps, chips, and cracks in your teeth to give you a healthier, more even smile.

How Does Dental Bonding Work?

The dental bonding process is normally non-invasive. We apply a natural-looking material (composite resin) onto the tooth to cover up small cracks or gaps.

The material is then hardened, smoothed and polished. All of this takes place during an appointment that will usually take about one or two hours.

Is Dental Bonding Right for Me?

When you visit us for a consultation, we can help you decide if dental bonding, or some other procedure, would benefit you.

Depending on your needs, bonding can help correct many different smile problems, such as stubborn stains, gaps between the teeth, or chipped or uneven teeth.

What are the advantages of Dental Bonding?

Little or no drilling or anesthetic is normally necessary for cosmetic bonding, and several teeth can even be bonded during a single visit.

Additionally, dental bonding is usually one of the most inexpensive dental procedures!

How are Dental Bonds Maintained?

For about a couple of weeks, you will go through an adjustment period during which you'll get used to the new shape and size of your teeth. After that, as long as you continue to brush and floss daily and visit the dentist at prescribed intervals, your dental bonds should last you for many years.
