The Willowbrook Dental Clinic team can use dental bonding to repair gaps, chips, and cracks in your teeth to give you a healthier, more even smile.
How does cosmetic dental bonding work?
The cosmetic dental bonding process is a non-invasive one. We apply a natural looking material (composite resin) onto the tooth to cover up small cracks or gaps.
The material is then hardened, smoothed and polished. all of this takes place during an appointment that will take about one or two hours.
What are the advantages?
Little or no drilling or anesthetic is necessary for cosmetic bonding, and several teeth can even be bonded during a single visit.
Additionally, dental bonding is one of the most inexpensive ways to achieve a great smile!
Is dental bonding for me?
When you visit us for a consultation, we can help you decide if dental bonding, or some other cosmetic procedure, would benefit you.
Depending on your needs, bonding can help correct many different smile problems, such as stubborn stains, gaps between the teeth, or chipped or uneven teeth.
How are dental bonds maintained?
For about couple of weeks, you will go through an adjustment period during which you'll get used to new shape and size of your teeth. After that, as long as you continue to brush and floss daily and visit the dentist at prescribed intervals, your dental bonds will last you for many years to come.
