Worried About Visiting the Dentist?

You're not alone! If you get nervous about visiting the dentist, we want you to know that even people who go to the dentist on a regular basis still feel anxious about it.

Fear is one of the biggest reasons people avoid dentists. For this reason, we offer a variety of safe, effective sedation options that will help you feel more at ease during your next dental appointment. So, we can help f you experience anxiety about dental procedures.

Sedation will help your relax while undergoing dental procedures, which means that you're more likely to get dental care when you need it – and that usually results in better oral health!

Sedation Options, Langley Dentist

What is Sedation Dentistry?

Dental sedation refers to when we use medication to help ease patients' anxiety before, during and after dental treatment.

Sedation is often recommended for patients who get highly anxious about dental procedures, or who have extensive treatment needs, time constraints, and/or a severe gag reflex.

Oral Sedation to Help Ease Anxiety

Oral sedatives can be taken the night before to help you sleep, and taken one hour before your appointment to reduce anxiety leading up to and during any treatment. Oral medication is easily administered in the form of liquid or pills.
